Here is a list of blogs who have influenced me the most. I read all them consistently and interact via comments and Twitter.
Apathy Ends – About 3 years ago I was facing a massive amount of debt, was saving about 3% of my income and was not making enough money to do anything about it. With the help of some personal finance books and some fellow personal finance bloggers our life has completely turned around. We are saving over 30% of our income, and have cut our debt in half.
Cash Flow Diaries – My goal is to build enough passive income to be financially free in the fastest way possible. I will conquer this goal by generating passive income anyway I can. Investing in real estate with turnkey rental properties, online income, whatever!! Smart financial life decisions! I will share this by offering full disclosure on everything I do with my own finances – my successes and my failures.
Cashville Skyline – I’m a thirty-something Nashville, TN based personal finance geek working in digital marketing.
Club Thrifty – We want you to succeed. We believe you can. In fact, we know you can because we’ve been where you are. We’ve been broke. We’ve been in debt. We’ve spent more than we earned. Finally, we grew tired of our situation. We made a decision to get our finances straight, and that decision changed our lives forever. Now, we’ve been able to quit our jobs, work for ourselves, and travel the world. We are finally in control of our own lives…and it’s all because we learned how to handle our money.
Dames in Debt – The Dames are a pair of sisters spanning the great United States of Indebtedness.
Distilled Dollar – Distilled Dollar is about helping people to extract the vital aspects of personal finance and understand the essential meaning of wealth as they pursue financial independence.
The Dollar Stretcher – Do you wish you had more time and money? Many of us do! That’s what The Dollar Stretcher is all about. We’ve spent years digging out all the ways that you can “live better…for less”.
Finance Superhero – This blog began with a simple idea: dedication to the protection of finances by defeating common “money myths,” combating threats to financial well-being (such as the consumer lifestyle, debt, mismanaged assets, and lack of a game plan), and “Restoring Order to the World of Finance,” one post at a time.
Financial Samurai – Financial Samurai delves deeper into investing, real estate, retirement planning, career strategies, money philosophy, and more, so we can all achieve financial independence sooner, rather than later. Every article is written based off first hand experience to provide the most helpful insights possible. Money matters are too important to be left up to pontification.
Green Cooking -A 16 year old who is keen in creating new, exciting food
Makin The Bacon – This blog may be for you if you march to the beat of your own drum. If you’re unconventional, weird and nerdy all rolled in one. You have an offbeat, sarcastic, a bit dark, random and sometimes inappropriate sense of humour. On the blog I’ll offer my own type of advice- stuff that I did, stuff that worked for me and stuff that I went through.
Money Peach – My passion is sharing ideas and creating products for people who are looking for a better way to handle their money. I love showing everyday-normal people how to go from living paycheck-to-paycheck, to getting completely out of debt and creating hope for their future.
Retire29 – I set out on a mission to retire from the normal grind of work before my daughter goes to her first day of school. I’ve made a high level plan to accomplish this goal, which is essentially building a huge three-legged stool of 1. Expense Optimization, 2. Passive Income Creation via Dividend Growth, and 3. Side Hustlin’ (financial writing and maybe even a little money from this blog).
$mart Passive Income -Smart Passive Income is a resource run by me, Pat Flynn, to teach you proven strategies for running an online business and optimizing it for passive income—but what is passive income? Passive income is money, made by your business, that does not require a lot of ongoing, manual effort from you.
$mart Woman – I write about my personal ‘trials and tribulations’ about money on this blog. I have one mission: Build my wealth so I don’t have to depend on a job to maintain my lifestyle.
Thrifty Meets Spendy – Miss Thrifty has a lot of money anxiety and thinks that by blogging about it, she’ll channel her obsessive thoughts about account balances and planning for the future into something constructive. Hopefully more than something constructive — something that can help out 20-somethings in similar shoes?
Travel Break – An award-winning travel blog, our community seeks adventure, culture, motivation and lifestyle. Explore our site before you explore the world — find tips on taking the trip you’ve always desired or take the leap as an entrepreneur.
Untemplater – Untemplater’s goal is to build a thriving community for anyone who ever sought more out of life — and our goal is to help you learn how to shatter the template lifestyle so you can find the career path, side hustles, insights, and adventures that make you come alive!
YETInvesting – I am an attorney, landlord, and finance enthusiast. I am highly focused on planning for my own financial security, which includes growing my real estate portfolio, developing additional income streams, and socking away money in savings and retirement accounts so I can retire early and live comfortably.
