I was born in Nicaragua, was adopted and grew up in NYC. So I was a world-traveler by the age of 13 months. After graduating college I worked at a BIG RETAIL company and have since moved on to a BIG MEDIA company. I have retail sales, managerial, budgeting and analysis experience. It surprised me how much the retail experience helped me at BIG MEDIA.
You may be wondering why I started a blog in 2016. Well the simple answer is “because”. That’s not a great answer but that was how I felt in April 2016. I have been reading quite a few financial blogs for years and I just got a sudden itch to start one. It also had to do that were several topics that I want to read about but were scattered across multiple blogs.
I don’t think I have a real niche, per se, but I think you will find this blog informative if you enjoy reading about retirement, budgeting, student loans, fantasy sports, gambling, food and travel. This blog will probably change over time because I probably will.
I enjoy beer, cooking Soul & Italian food, sports, Game of Thrones, Parts Unknown and Chopped. I’m currently engaged to a lovely lady who has similar food and TV interests (excluding GoT).
The name PallaDinero is a play on my last name and the Spanish word for “money”.
