Welcome to PallaDinero!!!
I have been interested in money and saving since I was a kid. Growing up in NYC I was lucky enough to actually walk on the floor of The New York Stock Exchange. It was fun & exciting to see the energy of the traders and the organized chaos in that environment. I have not always been perfect with money but I have learned from my (and others) mistakes. After some initial pitfalls after graduating from college I have taken better control of my finances to ensure that I live debt-free and have a proper retirement.
I read Cash Flow Diaries, $mart Passive Income, Financial Samurai & Financial Nirvana Mama and recently I got the itch to start my own blog, so I did. There are numerous financial blogs out there so why start one? I want to help anyone who was like me in my early 20’s & 30’s and need some financial guidance. I also need an outlet to voice my own path and future endeavors.
I will be going over some financial basics, avoiding the mistakes I made, planning for the future, food/cooking and some fun stuff as well. I am a big sports fan and enjoy watching movies & TV. I also participate in several fantasy sports leagues and will write about that too.
The name for this site is a combination of my last name and the Spanish word for “money”. The plan is to post 2-3 articles a week because I feel that is a workable pace. I also do not want to bombard you with too many articles to read. Hopefully you will find my articles to be useful and occasionally funny. I anticipate on answering your questions and responding to your comments.
Thank you for visiting. Please leave a comment on what topics you wish to discuss.
